I think we need to build for the future........

Older players of foreign type players are short term fixes.

Every team that comes up tends to look a these type of players yet...... most teams who go for these types get relegated. (and they leave, see 2004 for details)

We may get relegated this year but the benefit of playing younger players is that if we let any go after relegation we can command a decent fee.
A Bullard or some 35 year old international is worth nothing.

We can at least take the money, along with para payments and invest in building a better squad for another run at promotion.
