I wouldn't take Gera or Bullard.

I think I'm a sucker for the unknown. I really wanted Strihavka to do well, for example. Similarly, I'd like to see us sign Pacheco because he adds something different.

At the moment, I feel like I know all our signings quite well. They're decent players and they work hard (shoulders to the wheel...) but where's the key, the catalyst, to unlock defences or to skin someone like Evra?

We haven't spent a huge amount of money yet, so I cling onto the hope that Lambert is lining up something special.

All the above said, I feel better about this group of players compared to Simon Charlton and Graham Stuart.
