Interesting definition of the word 'justified' by The Daily Mail.

In a feature about young English players, they report that Connor Wickham 'justified his club's ?10million valuation against Arsenal in the Carling Cup last season'.

Curious, given that Wickham didn't score in that particular tie, and The Mail's own match report took 23 paragraphs to even mention the striker, and in their match ratings gave him 7/10. That's the same as Marton Fulop, Carlos Edwards, Colin Healy and Mark Kennedy.

Yep, definitely justified his ?10million valuation that night.
