15k ? That's ridiculous. I was earning 13k in 1996 and was f***ing skint. How can anybody

live on 15k these days ? What's that in the UK after tax (you are lucky with tax btw) ? 900 a month ? Isn't it at least 350 a month just for renting a bedsit these days ?
