I only really came round to the idea of the gaz's of this world when I saw a documentary about a village in Manfield (not mansfield)

Everyone in the village was subjected to postal hate mail, or various messages relayed about their lives, or gardens trashed/things moved

Went on for over 10 years until he was caught. And the bloke was some 80 year old duffer who was just bitter and bored

I wonder if it's been uploaded to youtube now. One of the couples on the documentary had a stroke from the stress of his persecution, and the couple were very angry that he only went to jail for a matter of months
