I should add the biggest performance bottle neck for laptops.......

is the hard drives.

Most have 5400 rpm drives to save battery/cost.

Better to add a SSD if you dont need a lot of space.

The performance difference is phenominal.

Even adding a hybrid drive like a momentus makes any laptop fly like a desktop.
