Why McVeigh and not Lisbe?

Im not going to say that we should boot Worthy out of the door as I just cant think of a suitable candidate to replace him. Some people around me at the game have mentioned John Gregory but im not to sure about him. What do you all think. We must remember what Worthy has done for this club since he has taken over. When he took charge we were in a right mess on and off the pitch. We are in only a little worse position in the league than we were 2 seasons ago before Hucks and Crouch came along and we all know what happened that season. We must give Worthington till January to turn it around. If things start to go our way we will all look back and wonder what the hell were we saying to get rid of him. I have two criticisms of the game on Sat. The first one is that McVeigh was our best player so why take him off? he wasnt injured. Lisbe was having an absolute nightmare. Having heard what Worthy said on Norfolk after the game made my blood boil. Fair enough he makes the decisions but he must stand by what he said. He has let himself in for even more grief if we dont beat Hull on Tuesday night. I sometimes wonder if he is watching the same game as me as his substitutions often baffle me. My other criticism is that Worthy said Huckerby was not fit enough to play the whole game. What if he had to come on early in the game ie when Ashton got hurt. would he then have been taken off himself after 70 minutes. Huckerby is good, there is no getting away from that but surely at this level of football you need 5 match fit people on the bench, not one half wonders. I hear so many rumours in the course of a week but these 2 got my attention. The first one is that Makenzie is not injured at all, Worthy has given him a month off to sort out his private life. The second one is that Gary Holt is hoping to come back to Norwich as he is refusing to play for Megson at Forest. Some things never change then, Megson is still an idiot.
