....you need a squad - we had one of the smallest squads in the PL last season - it was only the class of the players that got us to finish in second place.

Mourinho had it right - 2 players for every position.

I appreciate that's probably not an option at Norwich (financially) but for every Ashley Cole you need a Wayne Bridge (or, now, a Ryan Bertrand etc)

So sign as many players as you can afford - because, believe me, you need them sometimes - we went into the season with 8 midfielders - we had 3 fully fit in January. You'll also be expected to progress further in cup competitions etc as well, so more games
