Holt is clearly the main man, and I assume there are other good eggs already in the dressing room.

Experience only works if other existing qualities are not diluted by the new arrival.
I hate to say it, but piswich did very well without signing experienced top-flight players in 00/01, and it only went tits-up frop them when they messed with what they already had (George & Sereni!).
