Hate to say it but a mate of mine who works at Carrow Road told me a fortnight ago that Snodgrass was down in Norwich for talks, and he's not the kind of guy to just make s**t up. (Obviously didn't post it on here as we already have too many "my mate is in the know" threads.) Having heard nothing since I assumed it was just rumour, but now I'm starting to think maybe we gave him permission to talk to Norwich, personal terms have been agreed, and all that remains is some public posturing about the final transfer fee so that Bates can make out we had no choice and it was good money in the circumstances.
