Fee is clearly subjective

There aren't many direct comparisons to draw on, I can't remember the last League one striker who signed for a premier league team at 27 for that kind of fee. I'm not convinced hard work alone is enough to cut it in the Prem. ILWT no doubt, i'm sure he knows 100% the type of player he wants for the team but you only have to look at the scoring records of players like Scotland, even Paynter/Austin to see that goals at lower levels is no guarantee of success. I think ?3m on a 27yr old with even limited Champs experience is a gamble.
