wasn't it the previous season's top 8, all in the first ten games? If he'd attacked in those circs it could've been catastrophic. Instead of merely a bit depressing. he cocked up not trusting Leon from the start, I reckon. Playing Doc up front was a gamble that with hindsight is very easy to judge as foolish (even tho I think I said so at the time).
