My thoughts

Firstly how can a referee that has been (until this summer) a resident of Maidenhead, Berkshire (just 15miles down the M4 from the Mad Stad) be considered for a Reading game, surely there are more than enough other refs to avoid such conflict of interest. see link User Posted Link

Afterall his original refeering qualifications would have been done through Berks & Bucks County FA and they would probably still hold his registration on behalf of the Football League and FA. No wonder he tried so hard not to give us any decisions, ie the foul inside the box that he moved back a yard so that it was only a freekick, he'd even have denied us the penalty if the lino hadn't have stood his ground!

Secondly Worthy has shown complete contempt towards the fans with his outburst on RN, its his little giggle to himself about "I'm the boss, i make the decisions" that really gets to me, for someone who preaches togetherness the arrogance is incredible

Thirdly can we have a whip round and get Kevin Lisbie a train ticket back to London now. Fuck that I'll carry him all the way on my back just to get rid of him. Sadly worthy will just renew the loan for another month and believe (in his only world) that its a good piece of business

Fourthly can we play players in their best positions. Hucks managed 27 goals in one season in this league for Man City playing upfront yet we use him on the left or right of midfield. Jimmy Brennan was Forests player of the year as a left back / left wing back, today he was used as one of 3 central midfielders. Dean Marney admitted that Centre Mid was his favoured position so we stick him out of the right wing. Ian Henderson came through the academy as a striker and we stick him out on the wing. Paul McVeigh nets a hatful of goals playing upfront so we move him out on to the wing as well, and in his place we use Lisbie who just couldn't look less interested if he tried.

Fifthly why bring on Henderson when you have Marney on the bench

Sixthly, Was really impressed with Davenport and Doherty again, says alot that Davenport was also probably our most creative right winger for the last few mins!
