Our predicted squad for the PL. (dont read if easilly tilted)

What the above article shows is that there are a whole host of reasonable striking and midfield options out there, yet not many quality defenders seem to be coming on the market.

Of Lamberts mythical 7 players you have to think he is looking at 3 strikers at most.
More than likley its two strikers (Vaughan and Morison) plus Dani Pacheco in the Wes option role.

The other 4 spots.

At least 1 GK and 1 CB and 1 right sided attcking midfield player, maybe players like Ritchie de Laet and Rob Edwards who can play multiple positions across the back.

I think his revised list might include the following names who tick all the boxes of young and hungry, looking to step up to the PL. (no 30 somethings)

I actually think we are currently not interested in CMS for various reasons unless we lose out on other targets, talk is Barry Fry is trying to flog him to the Brum.....

The talk of 7 players seems like a lot but actually the squad probably wont increase that much in size.

Its assumed we will let some players go plus we needed players in like Pacheco, Edwards, Lansbury and Vokes to cover gaps

I seriously think we might not fill the full 25 man roster.

So far I get only 22 of the 25 even if we buy all 7 players and all are over 21.
We also have room for an experienced player like Rob Edwards as cover.
If we sold/loaned C Martin then obviously that would free up another striking squad place.
