You're entitled to be paid for any of your hols you haven't taken.

But you have to pro-rata down the entitlement based on how many full months of the holiday year you've worked.

So if your holiday year runs Jan-Dec and you're leaving today, that's four full months you've worked (you can't count any of May, 'cos it's not a full month) - so you're entitled to a third of your days, less what you've actually taken off.

Say for simplicity that you're entitlement is 30 days per annum - you're entitled to 10 days. So if you have taken 5 days off this year, they owe you for the remaining five. Or, you can take them as hols.

It needs to be resolved though - the company can't just ignore it - you've got a legal right to the holiday time.
