1) Board now has to step up and be strong. Tell Worthy he's got 10 games to get it right. No more money will be given him in that period, he's had enough. After those 10 games he is either within 5 points of a playoff place or he will be asked to resign.
Use one million of the Francis money to buy him out.
During that 10 game period Board needs to be developing a list of potential candidates to replace Worthy should they need to. Use other million of Francis money to poach a manager from the lower leagues. Still think Brian Laws from Scunthorpe deserves a look. Seems to get results with no money.
If we are still in the s**t come January sell Ashton and Green and give the money to the new manager to fashion a squad in his image. 2)In that 10 game period Worthy once and for all needs to find a way to form a side around Hucks. IMHO Hucks is a throwback player from 40 years ago when teams would play 3 fowards. Typically there would be 4 midfielders behind and 3 at the back. With Hucks in the side you really need to have 4 in the midfield. To tell you the truth think Nige is so blinkered that he would never even consider 3 at the back. Our midfield has taken a lot of criticism these last 2 years but they are undermanned and 3 players are being asked to do the job of 4.
3)Back to the board. Really think they have lost sight of what Norwich City is about. This club MUST be developing players from within. The club is simply not big enough to buy success. Heads should be rolling over the lack of production from the Academy yet we see nothing. Should the need arise to hire a new manager then it should be an absolute f**king priority that it be someone who will give youth a chance.
