Dont think he moved too far away from what got him there

Just that he failed to replace the weaknesses in his team (Goalkeeper and defence) and bought more attacking players of which he already had plenty good ones. He still stuck with Adams, Vaughn, Taylor Fletcher and Campbell, the attacking players that got him up. Problem was that he kept playing Southern, Evatt, Crainey and Gilks. Should have reinforced the back instead.
