WTF is going on with Insurance quotes FFS, FFFS?

I mean, you expect them to try and hoik up the prices each year but this year they've all gone bananas. Both my Home and Motor insurers offerd me increases of around 50% this year. I managed to update my Home Ins for only a small increase, in the end, but on motor insurance even the Comparison sites are offering me at best a 20% increase, top line before the add-ons.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT????
