Tried to get to a player to have a go, but the ref was in the middle stopping him

so he tried to move the ref out the way, to continue the spat.

Ref stood his ground with him, and then he pushed the referee (I'd say like Di Canio did), but the ref stayed upright, bollocked him, and then booked him

I do get the feeling refs aren't sending these guys off, cos they don't want the media attention, so they try and stop it there and then

All it's really doing, is giving players even more permission to say and do what they like
