Your fears are well grounded.

But it does mean you might be a little bit Up A Certain Creek.

What I would try is this:

Get a bit of software that converts from .wmv video format (which you have) to .mpg format (which the iFoon can play). This google search is a good enough place to start, User Posted Link , but the usual caveats apply - don't install anything you don't trust, etc.

Then connect your iPhone to the computer and browse to it in Windows Explorer (I'm assuming you're on a PC).

When I connect my phone, its images and videos are in My Computer\iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\800AAAAA - so I expect you ought to be able to copy movie files into there.
