Zak is injured, in comes Barnett. Barnett gets signed (could be anyone's guess wages and fee paid)

Edwards comes in as cover for Barnett

Drury gets injured, but Lambert doesn't want to use Lappin there, instead he signs Tierney

Without going through the squad, you can recount this process accross the whole season, instead of before, where you would bemoan an injured player's loss, and pray that the reserves would step up

They didn't need to, because Lambert made sure the team stayed strong. The board deserve a great deal of credit for supporting this imo (cos I reckon it's cost a small fortune)
