If I was going to be looking for another club I would want to know sooner rather than later.

I would expect most people who are not in his plans have already been told, giving them a chance to sort things out before a lot of contracts end in the next couple of months.

I think players who are coming to the end of their contracts can sign a pre-contract agreement with another club......some of our players might already have other clubs lined up.
