Trafigura's super-injunction was temporary, and was based on their argument that the draft report that the Guardian had obtained had been stolen, and was still subject to legal privilege.

So that wasn't about the story never being published - it was a (half-baked) attempt by the company to stop the story being covered *then*.

Not saying super-injuntions are perfect at all. I dunno the right answer to balancing people's right to privacy with the right to free speech. But don't think the right answer is obviously that the press can publish anything they find out about anyone's private life.
