The 25 man squad for next year.

As most of you know the PL has a 25 man squad rule.

You have to have 8 home grown players, this wont apply to to us as virtually our whole squad is home grown.

Also players under 21 dont count towards the 25 man squad. you can have as many as you like.

Just looking at our current squad, in my opinion this will be the base squad.

You will notice that we currently only have 16 slots filled so we have a ton of room to bring in new signings.
Also players like McNamee may be on the edge, not sure what Lambert has in mind. I guess it depends if he signs the right sided midfield player he has been after.

Rumours have been flying that we are looking for another experienced GK, probably leaving room for Rudd and Steer to go out on loan.

We are obviously very short of strikers so I am guessing bringing in Cody McDonald is an option although he may be loaned or we may even cash in if Lambert doesnt feel he is ready for the PL.

We just let 3 loan players go back that obviously need either re-signing or replacing.

Based on the above it looks like we need at least the following to start with

Goalkeeper
Central defender/Right Back
Right sided attacking midfield player
Creative attacking player (Wes/ Pacheco type)
2 strikers

Feel free to start naming players who you would like to see come to the club.
Lambert is probably going to raid the championship, LG1 and relegated PL teams.
