Kind thoughts to you Jim. This also made me teary.

I've been thinking about my dad too this season. He was a Scouser and life long Liverpool fan but was really excited about my support for Norwich. When we struggled at times to talk about other things, we always had the football. I can remember phoning him as the goals went in at Bayern Munich (we were both following the match 200 miles apart) both so happy.

He died about 14 years ago, but he's been very close in my thoughts these past few months.
