I'm not talking about the routine sacking of managers

I'm talking about offering other people your job while you're still there. I'm talking about the leaking of deals being concluded with managers before they are and before the current manager has gone. I'm talking about the executive staff texting your players behind your back to canvass their opinion on you. I'm talking about board members using columns in the national press to criticise you. I'm talking about giving interviews to news crews criticising you and the players in public.

We might not have shown much loyalty to some managers, but at least we didn't go to the extent West Ham did.

Should the Aston Villa job come up on the other hand...
