I actually wanted Real to win last night because I like Mourinho, BUT

I did think that that was an AWFUL challenge by Pepe - studs in, halfway up his shin. Could have been awful.

I deeply disapprove of the ref-bullying and agree that it would be brilliant if football could breed an attitude towards the ref like the one rugby has managed to create, eg by advancing free kicks 10 metres if there's chat (not going to happen). So I didn't like the subsequent events. But I did think that was a bloody awful challenge, yellow at least.
