I get your mentality

Being pessimistic and expecting failure means you can never be disappointed. It also means you can't lose, you're either right all along in your assumptions or you're happy with the alternative outcome.

Thing is, it also quashes the whole excitement of being a footy fan. The hope, the nerves, the passion etc. Stop living in a f**king safety net and spread your wings.
