when govements have had more marshall power its never worked out well for the vast majority of its citizens.

Banning things like guns is always done in the guise of being for the public good/safety

But how many people are killed by cigarettes and alcohol every year (compared to fire arms)........ why not ban cigs and booze immediately.......

Oh....... thats right........ they are taxable.......f**k the people, let em die.
