Just had reply from Scunthorpe Telegraph

following an article I did for them for Saturdays game. You may be interested in his comments on the game and the crowd:

Cheers Tony think we'll need it.

Players certainly didn't seem to be playing for their futures under the new boss, but to be fair to him he'd only come in on Friday, with the team shape/system already set up. He didn't know enough about them to change it around either.

It's clear he's got a job on his hands!

As has been the case so many times this season, once we concede the first goal, heads drop, players go missing. Even Michael Nelson, who was immense upon arrival, looks a shadow of the player he has been - the space he left Holt for his third goal was unforgiveable. Confidence is at an all time low.

The fact though Knill has seen United at their worst should hopefully give him a bit of food for thought.

Best of luck with promotion, as I said in all my reports etc, atmosphere at Carrow Road was immense, best I've sampled since Scunny were at Wembley in 2009. The way the fans got behidnt the team, even before kick-off was to a level I think I've rarely experienced anywhere. Canaries played some great stuff too.

All the best,
Chris
