the invite to the WWDC that is usually home to the iphone reveal..

..only mentions revealing the future of iOS, not even a hint at new hardware. It would be unlike apple to break their own cycle and miss out on guranteed revenue but maybe they needed more than a year for the new iphone after the problems with the 4 (which I own and love). Now they have the white colouring sorted (iPad 2) it may be that they just relaunch the 4 this summer in white and wait til next year for the 5.

Either way I'm contracted until Summer 2012 so I'll just be an interested spectator.
