Worthy

Only a cretin would call for Worthington to go after what he's achieved for us. However, I've been quite surprised at the lack of comment amongst the fans and local media about his tactics. Whilst many Prem teams have been playing one up front (some more successfully but notably Everton and Chelsea), Worthy's been playing up to four out and out attacking players none of whom can defend.

We havent conceded 77 goals or whatever it is due to a bad defence (although there have been too many individual errors) but mainly becoz we can't defend as a team. Worthy has stated a number of times that we needed to do it better but it never really happened. We looked much more solid with Safri sitting in front of the defence. Shame he was out for so long.
