Two years ago on the Caps trip but the train is not a great option

Here's Matt's mail

This match has now been scheduled for live Sky TV coverage with a 5:20pm kick-off. The last direct eastbound train to London departs Swansea at 19:28, only minutes after the final whistle, so we will not be able to run a trip for this match. If people do plan to travel and risk the very quick dash back to the station, or wish to stay in Swansea over night, good value fares can be obtained using GroupSave tickets (4 travel for the price of 2 at ?34.50 each).

For those not in a rush, there is a 20:00 departure from Swansea with connections in both Cardiff and Bristol Temple Meads that will eventually get you back to London Paddington for 00:33. GroupSave tickets are not valid on the Swansea to Cardiff leg on this journey, however at the time of writing for a total of ?43.10 return you can book advance purchase tickets as follows:

London Paddington - 09:45
Swansea - 12:43
?20 single

Swansea - 20:00
Cardiff - 20:51
?7.10 single

Cardiff - 21:00
London Paddington - 00:33 (via a change in Bristol)
?11.50 single
