I'm hearing people (mainly talk sport TBF) talking about what World Class players we have, and how we can beat anyone on our day.
These'll be the same ones berating the squad (deservedly) after the last WC.

Its a total and utter nonsense, as is the captancy. England are a farce now for me, mainly as we simply cannot accept England are an average side, who MIGHT be capable of reaching a Semi (at which point anything is possible with a bit of luck) providing all our key players are fit and firing for a major tournament.

Sick to death of the ridiculous over hyping of every success and failure of the National Side.

Related to this, Its interesting to note how many England Players are wanted abroad, compared to the number of other internationals currently playing in the PL.
England would be a much better side, if 3 or 4 of them spent some time in Spain or even Italy. Would take them away from those convincing them they are World Class, would teach them new ideas, and may make one or two realise that they still need to work on their game a bit
