That spurious job description lobbed on anyone who a club feels it ought to give a position, but isn't quite sure what, and wants to make it look important, whilst, in reality, it isn't...except, of course, Barry Fry will probably be the most active and influential DOF in the game!

Remember how his managerial prowess used to be championed by legendary WOIB poster...whose name I have forgotten, hey thats how legendary he was...anyway, he used the catchphrase "poltoon!" and was very amusing...hell, who was that?
