Backups

I have an external hard drive and I either copy files over manually, this is a copy & paste of the high level folders and all the directories or I run a .bat file which looks at all the folders and copies over files and ones that have changed.

Just connect the cable from the hard drive to the USB slot, go into explorer and it should recognise the drive. Sometimes it needs to download some software which helps the computer talk to the hard drive.

I would think that some of these external hard drives to have software which do copying, I'm sure someone will know of one, I don't though.
