Admirable support for Jackson, below

Yes he did work hard, but then so did Sutch when he played in our really good sides. Both looked really out of place, more because of their decisions than their deeds. Jacko really needs a goal but it's not easy to see where one might come from, so shot is his confidence, and I tend to doubt he has the talent to drag him out of his current trough.

I hope he finds his touch and makes me look really stupid - but I also hope that persevering with him doesn't lay low our promotion push. Sorry Jacko if you're reading this, and I'd be delighted if I'm wrong - and if you ARE reading this, take comfort in how often I've been wrong before.
