Erm.. Technical help please

When starting up firefox i sometimes get the following message:

'Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at search.avg.com.'

And i can't connect to anything. I don't understand what the 'search. avg. com' thing is (i do use avg free but that seems to be all in working order)

GIYLF and the AVG help forums haven't been much help at all.

Anyone else had this problem?
