Desperate to impress last night.

You could see the fear in his eyes. And it showed in his play.
He worked so hard, finding space, being available, always a spare man, making the diagonal runs...

Snatching at chances he would have taken with consumate ease last season.
The more he tried, the more frantic he became to impress, the harder it then became for him.
I like him.
He hasn't made the impact anyone would have hoped, but I wouldn't like to see him bombed out, not now and not in the Summer.

Beckford looked the complete arse when he joined Leeds, they sent him out on loan, he got games and goals and re-discovered his self belief which he took back to Leeds. I'd like to think we could show Jackson the same sort of belief as I don't think he is a bad player, and I certainly don't think he is playing out of his safety zone.
