according to the nuclear whizz kids on the BBC
they had little choice but to let it escape because of the build up of hydrogen which could have blown the whole plant up sending seriously massive amounts of radiation into the atmosphere, which is what happened at Chenobil.
Thet bloke on the BBC was not getting hysyerical at all. mean while over on Fox Newsit was the end of the world
