The current side

probably has more real quality running through it than at first glance:

Ruddy, Whitbread, Ward, Drury, Surman & Barnett (+ Lansbury & Edwards) have all played at the top level, and Fox was a trainee at ManUre.

Add to that Wessi, SCM, Crofts & Korey, who have top-flight potential.

A not dissimilar mix to other successful City sides of the past.
