True story - I have had the same pin for my cards for years

based on an old telephone number that I haven't got anymore, but that's by the by, anyhoo, getting back to the point, when I got a new card through the post some years ago from a brand new credit card company, when they sent me though my pin on that little bit of secrecy paper you're supposed to destroy straight away, the pin was *already* set to my preferred pin the exact pin I would have changed it to if it wasn't already that.

What are the chances of that?

(The chances are one in ten thousand since you ask.)
