Alright then, the serious business of pancakes.
When I was growing up Shrove Tuesday meant that you did without your usual dinner and went straight onto the pancakes, great steaming mountains of them. Luds on em. Luds an luds.
Mrs B, however, oh no, when she was growing up you still had your usual dinner, but then had pancakes for dessert, just a couple of them.
Clearly that is wrong, and my way is The Way, but what do you think, hmm?
