had i said he's the only striker we'd been in for that would have meant we'd been in for nobody else. hence i put 'defo' to imply he was the only named striker we've been in for. maybe the unnamed players have been of higher calibre, however that would be pure speculation and i can only assess on the players we've defo been in for who have been named.
