McNally mentioned in that interview that they have plans to increase the capacity beyond the current 27,000 without ripping down the main stand and adding a tier........

Not sure where those seats are coming from but its obviously something they have to think about constanly.
If we get in the prem, we may need 28,000 plus a temp stand near the hotel!

The fact we have just invested in upgrading the lounges in the main stand suggests they probably dont want to go down the route of knocking down the main stand and totally rebuilding it with an extra tier.
It would be incredibly costly and realistically wouldnt increase revenues that much if you take into consideration the interest we would pay on a 20 million loan.

Probbaly far more cost effective to try and boost up the capacity to 28,000 cheaply.

After all, in the prem, the crowd revenues are only a small part of your income.
Especially with only 19 home games.

The PL TV money is where its at.
