my dad suffrered for over 8 years before dieing of the disease 2 years ago......... the real victim was my mother, who got very little assitance and ended up being a full time nurse to a husband that didnt recognize her and was even sometimes violent........

My dad suffered from many ailments, all of which i seem to have too, so i'm also thinking that one day I may get alzheimers....... really hope they find a decent treatment/cure sooner rather than later.....
