Labour voters are often very racist so It's no surprise to me that the BNP do well oop here. Immigrant ghettoes, albeit third or 4th generation immigrants, in places like Blackburn, Nelson, Luton are also more likely to lead to an atmosphere that breeds racism.
Strangely, Preston has never had the problems in that respect that Blackburn and Burnley has.
