talking of 'casual racism' vv down there did anyone see that programme

last night where 12 different families are in a competition to win a house in a small Yorkshire community?
this week it was a black couple and their 3 young boy's and you would have thought they were aliens the way the old locals were looking at them, ignoring them when they said hello and such like and as for some of the comments
''I'm not a racist but they won't accept their sort around here''
Although he was hoping to become a Tory MP which did count in his favour with a lot of them!
