Film on BBC1 tonight - Poltergeist

It's weird: only the other day i decided to make a list of older movies that i want to get hold of copies of, and the first one I wrote was Poltergeist. It's ancient now and I wonder how the effects will hold up - but this was a seriously great fillum at the time and I'd recommend it to anyone who's too young to have heard of it. I went to see it multiple times when it first came out - I used to do that, back then.

Anyway - I urge you to see it and suggest you remember that Been Done Since does tend to spoil a movie. Also there'll be a few things that you've seen spoofed or referred to, as well. Great movies are like that.
