don't see how it can demotivate them either. I'm sure players can tell when they aren't playing well and don't get remotely upset by boos when it happens. They aren't bloody 3 year olds. Cheers should be earned otherwise they are meaningless. Its standard practice in business to reward good performance, why should football be any different. You want cheers, then put in a good performance. You play badly you get boos. Its in your hands. That seems pretty fair to me.
